To explore a series of wearable products targeted at Health Care that
enhance telemedicine and telerobotics. Consider the possibility of
designing nearly two-dimensional low profile high-tech bandaids.
Depending on their function, they can be worn on the body in numerous
areas. Much like the patch, they could dispense drugs, monitor body
status and possibly accomplish some level of communication.
These technologies are currently being explored on the technical side in
the areas of flexible-wearable computers, conductive inks, temperature
sensitive fabrics, and so on... The goal of this project is to explore
the concept of being able to wear an information system on the body which
has the ability to monitor, regulate, and/or communicate vital biological
information.
The following resources may be used as a starting point in your research,
however, you should not limit yourself to these areas.
