Widgiteering 101 - Introduction to "Widgits"

A widgit is any sensor that plugs into a TNG. TNG-3 accepts any electronic sensor that provides a voltage of 0-5 volts, or a variable resistance. We typically use sensors such as photo cells, pressure pads, linear and rotary potentiometers, and bend sensors. More advanced sensors can also be used such as magnetic, and Hall Effect Transducers (HET's).
